I paid $2300 for my 90 NA. Body has 150,XXX but the engine is a JDM replacement with about 85XXX and had the timin' belt already done buy Nissan dealership. anyhow the car was in Sh!t condition. I have had to replace everything on the interior (carpets, seats, stereo speakers, etc), everything on the exterior (it had a busted ebay bumper that had been *modified* with a hacksaw and both front fenders, the pass. door, and I am having a guy I know start removing all the dents in the rear fenders in the next few weeks, and start preping the car for a new paint job which it needs). Also I had to replace the entire pass. side front suspension, and all for tires and wheels ( the wheels were 3 crappy condition chrome, and 1 alloy). So to make this long story even longer you can get a Z for as cheap as you want. Mine was cheap, but it has not been cheap. But if you want a car to learn on then you can actually get one for $4K or less. Just make sure it has never been in a bad accident. I had the frame checked b/f I bought anything - just be careful. after all is said and done my Z is going to look better than a stock '90 but it has also taken lots of blood sweat and tears, and is not even done yet.
